Today I moved on from valley of the gods, I wanted to stay longer, but I knew I needed to arrive at Lake Powell early since it was Easter weekend. I visited a new campsite, which I'm shocked I have never been to before. The lone rock campground lies right on the sandy beaches of Glen Canyon…err Lake Powell. I've decided to love this lake despite the abomination it is. I cannot change the fact that Glen Canyon was flooded, and will never be the same. I can choose to despise it's existence, which achieves nothing but hatred. Or I can choose to love what it is, therefore choosing to live with love in the present for what it is, not what it was. Tomorrow I go exploring, up to colorful canyon and white rocks.
